Nothing screams poor craftsmanship like wrinkles in your duct tape.

Off to the postoffice, get the truck serviced and then mow. Washed the truck last night after we got in. Got a lot of cleanup to do, the oak fronds and pollen are a mess!

Going to finish my gauge install today but I am a little nervous drilling into the exhaust manifold for the pyro probe.

Just dont drill into the turbo.... That might be a lil on the pricey side to replace

I know, I am worried about a shaving getting sucked into the turbo and everyone says to drill and tap it while it's running but I am still nervous.

Really? hmmm, if you drill it dry use a shop vac by the bit to suck as much as the shavings away and use low speed as you are about to punch through the manifold. Less finer shavings on low

Yeah, the theory is the positive pressure in the manifold will push the shavings back out of the manifold instead of sucking them in. I am planning on taking it slow and easy.

Ahhh yea, in theory it will work. Id run it once you got a good hole started. The shake from the motor will prolly give you grief trying to start the hole. Even too soak the bit in oil before you drill through, the shavings should sick to the bit.... should haha
