I wonder what they would do for you if you stated that a "lot" of people you know are getting their XM subscriptions for $77 a year and you were thinking about switching over to save the coin. Maybe the "threat" of losing a customer will facilitate a price match of sorts. Just a thought

Thanks for Sirius posts

Was searching internet for possible Sirius promo codes. I had read about XM deals on other sites, but I have a Sirius unit, not the XM. I found your site and thread from a Google search.

I did what was suggested here and called and asked for the $77 for six months and six months free. Very difficult to use Sirius webpage -- and the autophone service isn't good either. Neither helped me. Finally got a rep to take my request, "I'm considering canceling, heard about the $77 offer, will you give it to me now?"
I got set up for invoice billing. (May cost couple bucks.) I didn't want auto billing, because if after 12 months they autobilled me for like $144, then it could be a real pain to try to get that changed.

Anyway I just wanted to pop in here and say thanks. I didn't see this deal discussed anywhere else when I flipped through Google. So, thank-you.

Don't have an F150 or truck. Do have a new 2010 Audi diesel though. And now that our 3-mo. free Sirius trial is over, wife and I decided we did want Sirius. Our Sirius works great.

Thanks again for all your posts on this matter.

Today was my 4th call. No luck previously, and my radio was gong to expire in 5 days. Mentioned the deal, and the rep went away for a few minutes and came back and said no problem. $88 with taxes and fees. Glad they did it because I was not going to renew at $142. Thanks for the help!

They won't do it for me, have tried many times , and they just give me the run around , and I will NOT pay $149.00 + their B/S fees just to listen to the radio . That was the best they'd do , screw 'em !

well i ended up just calling and talked to somy, and got a year for 77 well 88 after tax/fees or whatever, i couldnt understand him. but i had a balance of $21 for the month that kept playing after my subscription was up, he said that even if you dont purchase the service if you dont cancel it, they will charge you for it and give you late fees.

so long story short if you let your subscription run out just start a new account when you re activate it, i would have but i had already redeemed some gift cards

Taaa-Daaa !! Got re-upped for $77.00 a year + taxes...on a "special promotion " , LMAO !! I just had to ask the guy why they make you jump through hoops ,and commented..... sheeesh , just give the offer outright rather than making us play "the game ", it would save Sirius and me time / money . He agreed , but, of course, has no control of the situation and I knew that, just had to put in my 2 cents , now we're good for a year .

Does anyone know if the factory installed radios are the kind that will accept a la carte? If it is, we can get 50 non premium channels for 6.99 per month.
Hank

I think you can do that on stationary radios, but I dont think that it works for vehicles. If it would work for the truck, then this whole thread regarding the $77/year wouldnt be so great and they wouldnt make it this hard to get this deal. 6.99 per month, so $84/year which is less than $7 difference and thats the fee set already without negotiating.
