I just purchased my starmate to other day, i have the receiver mounted with the suction cup to my windshild and the receiver rest on my dash. The antenna with velcrow is also on my dash..wires bundled up with twistie ties don't look too bad...my reason for this is back and fourth to work I drive yota for gas milage so when it's time to drive me 4x4 i can take my sirius from car to truck in seconds. The antenna picks up great while receiving through the windshield.

Then I unsrewed the brake light. Then I took a snake and inserted in the headliner at the back door. Slid it to the area of the brake light. From there I grabbed the snake, taped the antenna lead and pulled it through. I then hid the wire behind the door gasket and down the side wall, across the floor and up to the underside of the dash.
