Satellite radio with audiophile?

Is there any unit that can go behind the dash and utilize the "AUX" feature on the head unit?

Thanks,
Ron

Not yet, but talked to PIE who make them, next month there will be one. But if you 04 Super Crew I think there is one for yours.

I also have the audiophile and would love to hook up xm or sirus through the AUX input. If this will be posible soon, how would it actually work with the factory head unit. Would it use the factory display or would you have a separate display and tune your head unit into 88.5? I just dont understand why Ford doesnt have a SAT button on the newer F150.

I am guessing you will still have to use the display on your current satellite receiver. The reason for the plug will be to bypass the fm modulator.

This will be a much needed addition for me because in my area, there is a local station on 88.3 and it screws up all 4 of my frequency settings. I can try tuning to 88.1, 88.3, 88.5, and 88.7 and depending where I am in the city, I have to change my frequency accordingly or else I get really bad interference or static.

Called P.I.E. today to see if they have released an Aux adapter for the 04-05 model years. According to the tech I spoke with they have not and he did not know when they would get one to market. He did say they are getting "lots of calls every day"

Anyone heard anything different or know where else to look for one?

Same question here.....over on the Mustang Forums we have the same question on our '05 Mustangs - because our Shaker 500/1000 audio units have the same "AUX" button - but no one yet makes a harness to plug into the rear of the head unit. I have contacted Metra several times and their response is always - "we have no plans to make the harness and don't know when it might be available".....what a pain - can't believe Ford would go to the trouble of including an "AUX" button that we can't use......are we missing something here? I mean.....if you can't get a harness - then can the AUX button be used for anything?

They shipped already

They shipped a couple weeks ago. I've had mine in my truck for over a week.
