Just buy that powerdyne s/c in the classifieds and get this over with man! Your truck should be able to get to 103.. thats where mine stops. I have an edge that can remove the speed limiter, but I would be asking to blow my tires or even worse.. my engine, if I even tried going that high in mph. At 85 my rpms are like 2800ish.. at at 100+ they are close to 3400. I could only imagine what it would be like with the 4:88s.

IMO doing anything with the heads and rebuilding all of that mess would be way too much work. Especially when you can spend a couple grand tops and bolt on that much horsepower gain in one day. Like I said before..well I think I said it to you.. FI FTW!!

That fools flux capacitor is always leaking everywhere.. hes got to keep an eye on his lube levels . After all.. warp speed does alot to a 4.2. Good thing is that it has the word Ford written on it somewheres which means it can handle it

I mean im only doing around 3500rpms when my truck bogs down on me(makes a weird sound) and stops accelerating, its got alot more in it, its just that the speedo hit 100 and it only goes to a hundred. My other truck would be pegged at 100 but still accelerating idk maybe it had a tune on it? I agree the heads would be way to much for me, especially since its a daily driver. Fi is def the best way to go for me, as soon as i can. Thanks

Thats your limiter... double punch the gas and it ill go faster.

Idk dude. Im about tired of talking about it now. it was like a month ago now. I just know that from a dig, we were dead even up to around 60 b4 we let off. i dont know what motor he had wasn't rly paying that much attention and i don't think he was the 5.7 but he gave me a thumbs up. Idk if you read the post but i said i didn't actually smoke him just stayed with him till we let off at around 65 or so. I have 4.88's, i'm sure thats why, even with my big tires its like a 4.10. We can run if your ever in my area, id be curious unless there are mods not in your sig?
