Well I got the Edge Evo and put some stock 20s with the OEM Pirellis on and decided to see what the truck could pull after a little tweaking. It ran a 7 seconds flat in basically stock configuration. What have you all got? List your mods

lol, but seriously...i've been wanting to get an edge evo for awhile so i could see what my 0-60 is and how much it would improve after a few mods...i know it's sloww right now.
7 seconds doesn't sound too shabby for a full size truck btw

Yea, the Evo makes a huge difference but I'm sure once I put the Edge sticker on I'll be cutting 6.5 in no time..until then I'll just have to rely on my CIB.

Basically a stock SCab with 3.73 gears and 20" Pirellis. I let the Evo do the rest after setting the tire size and advancing the timing a hair or two. Also have Gotts mod. I was running 87 octane at the time, non-ethanol. I dont know if the gas being non ethanol makes a difference, but in my mind it does. This weeks outhouse science experiment will be testing a tank of E87 gas and comparing it against a tank of non E87

You askin' me? If so, simple mods. Nothing special. Everything but the exhaust was on the truck from the dealer:
  • True Dual 3" Exhaust
  • K&N Air Filter
  • 3.73 Gears

Oh, and the Roushcharger. That helps too.

Start small and use all resources. I found my Edge Evo on Craigslist for 125 and it was never used. My wheels and tires I found there too, 200 for the whole package that had maybe 25K on them. I did a lot of research and found a true dual setup with X Pipe, parts and pieces maybe 125 then getting it stitched together for another 200.

Its out there, just have to look
