I just want to get a Thread going on what people are doing with what mods, it could help people chose mods for themselfs by seeing what other members are doing.

quick question..... Is that good for just a K&N and Muffler back?

 

I don't have any mods done to my truck it's bone stock.But here are some times it has run 2007 F-150 XLT Supercab 5.4,3.55 LS axle i raced it 5 times last year best et was a 16.653 at 83.231 mph worst was a 16.858 at 81.769 mph.

1/4 mile times are in my SIG.

- Not stock, but still N/A.

I haven't run my truck with my new dyno tune but last time out I ran the following:

'06 5.4L Supercrew
oem 20's
Ford racing 4.10 gears
AF1 3.5" intake
2.5" custom exhaust
Troyer mail perf tune

16.0 @ 86

I think it may be those 20's.
My '99 5.4 reg cab 4x2 ran 15.7 stock. (255x70x16)
A friend had a 2000 4x2 supercab supercharged 4.6L and couldn't get under my time.
He had custom 18" wheels.

I also recall he had an open rear end and was smokin one tire like a ****.
Are you getting traction?

 

13.6 with 2.0 60ft___ 125 dry shot (2nd &3rd gears) intake, exhaust, tune, 4:10's, and my 20's...nothin new since motor build....yet vids in my sig

 

Just had my truck at the track couple days ago
2007 XLT S/cab 4x4 with 5.4L and 3.55 LS with magnaflow dual exhaust, K&N CAI, and X3 with custom Troyer tunes (93 performance tune that night)

Out of 6 runs this was my best

Most of my runs were 16.4-16.5, this last run was in semi-finals of street legal eliminations, I was dialed at 16.4 so I put myself out, but the mustang had caught me anyways.

16.1 is not too bad for just a K&N and a hypertech on a 4x4 Screw w/ 3.55's.

Definitely faster than alot of guys with those expensive xcals and custom. tunes.

I spin a bit out of the whole. I just switched my tires to a Goodyear F1. I have to go back to the track where i got my 15.9 and see if the tires help. Also having long tube headers, tune and 50 shot this time around. i'll see what happens. i hope i break 14's

 

I don't know what kind of weather CA has.
I've run the same track/same truck here in hot/humid July and cool October.
My time was 4/10's sec. faster just due to the cooler weather.

Not too many mods out there that will get you 4/10's (for free).

 

i had an 01 supercrew, 5.4 with 3.55 gears, 18" rims with 285/60/18 tires

i got a vortec s/c off of ebay for $1500.00 installed at 45k miles

with no tune and no other mods it ran 15.1

i put over 55k miles on the truck after the install.

blew the trans at 68k and blew a spark plug at around 101k miles

 

60ft: 2.097

8th: 8.790 @ 81

1/4: 13.6 @ 100.400

 

HI!... I just got back from our local dragstrip. Got a new best with the RANGER. 14.67E.T at 91.85MPH with a 2.0-60FT. This is with just a 16 inch electric fan, crank power pulley, and custom CAI. Temps were around 62 degrees and we had a 22KPH headwind.
