What is a "Bump"?

I was following a couple of threads and noticed that someone responded to a "Bump". What does this mean?

Thanks,

Mike.

It's just an added post to the thread. It puts it on top of the section making it more visible to others. It would also appear at the top when a user hits "new posts". Most people do it in the classifieds section.

If you ever see someone post "ttt", it's the same thing. It means "to the top".

Welcome to the site Mike.

Exactly what Barrett said. It stands for "Bump Up My Post". Welcome to the site. I am new to this forum as well.

Thanks guys! I can't believe how helpful everyone in this Forum is. I was reluctant to join because I never understood how useful these Forums can be. And I thought if I was to ask a simple question - that may seem "stupid" to some members - I would get totally blasted for being a dumb-***. But now I am so relieved. Again - THANK YOU!

No problem amigo, glad you're here . Never be afraid to ask questions, because chances are there are at least 4 others too afraid to post it themselves!

A protuberance on a the skins surface. Which may immediately follow a hurts doughnut.

A cranial protuberance can and has caused forum posting. This should be avoided at all costs as it is very contagious and has developed into complete stupidity.

In time you will wish you did not join after seeing how much money in modifications you will be putting into your truck, it is a contagious disease!
