This has been asked before - the policy here is no, they won't do it.

I'm sorry but name changes and multiple names are not allowed.

...let me further explain.

Historically, we have not allowed a change of username. Reason being is that it's simply a lot more work for us on this side of the coin. Now, that said, it's really not terribly difficult to do -- in fact, it's easy. But, when you compile a site with the population that we have and make it a free-for-all on usernames, it becomes a bit more burdensome.

I'm entertaining the option to have a 'username change day' though. My thought is a single day where I'll change a users' name -- by doing it this way, we can offer it up and make it a once per year type of thing -- or similar.

Again, just entertaining the thought right now and am not interested in changing everyone's name on the site -- but, in some instances, it wouldn't be that big of a deal and may make a user's experience in the community better.

You can't delete your own account - and if you opened a new one you would be in violation of the multiple names policy!

Hey Brad, have you given anymore thought about this? I would like to change mine. I haven't had a red truck in almost 4 years now, so it might be time to change things up a bit.

Some new usermanes I would like (in order of preference)

1- Blue Pearl FX4

2- BlueFX4

3- 07BlueFX4

Did not know that. Been a member since 1999, but moved and had changed emails, and forgot my password. So had to start over.

Would be nice to be able to change usernames for those of us that can't hang on to the same vehicle for more than a couple of years.

Can you not imagine the confusion if everyone was changing their name at will? Just choose a name that is not vehicle specific and you are good forever.

It's just a name.

When I was young I asked my mother how I got my name and she said I was named after my father.
When my dad heard this he got very angry and the next day he punched the mailman in the nose.

I agree. I just hope I don't change jobs.
