Not logged in but I am logged in.

Why is it that when I go to "Home" I show as not being logged in, but as soon as I go to the forums I am logged in? This is on any computer I use with IE 6,7 or 8. I save my login info on all of them. I can go back and forth all day long and I get the same result in out in out........

Same here.

I remember when it changed. I think it was when this site became IB or they did some sort of server change or something like that. Couple years ago I believe.

You mean when you go to this URL :

https://www.f150online.com/index.php

You show as not logged in, but the moment you click on anything else ( FAQ, forums, etc ) the login info is in the right hand side.

I get the same thing on FF 3.5.3

Waiting for an update here from the OP... We've seen a weird qwirk or two lately... not sure if IB is tweaking servers or what but, if this is more widespread, we need to investigate further.

When reporting a problem such as this, please include the browser type, version of browser, operating system, and credit card number (along with the 3 digit code on the back).

It happens to me also. On all computers running every kind of browser. It has been happening for about a year or so now.

I just switched my bookmark from the homepage to the Discussion Forums page.

I never go to the homepage anymore so I don't notice it.

I noticed this a few years ago too. Just figured that's the way it is now and didn't worry about it.

So, from the sounds of it, the f150online.com home page (not forum home page) isn't communicating with the dBase. I'm going to tinker with trying to replicate it here (Chrome).

It's been that way with me for about a year. Don't notice it any more. MS Explorer.

Sorry to keep you waiting. I am glad that it isn't just me. It was never like this maybe 2-3 years ago like all the others have said. One day it just changed. Not a big deal I just thought I would ask. Visa 4235-5963-4598-3985 666

Thanks for the help!

I've been aware of the issue from the home page for quite a while.... Unfortunately though, I'm not able to tweak that part. I will, however, elevate it to IB to see if they can remedy the condition -- albeit, a minor qwirk. But, if we're going to have a login screen there, it may as well mesh with our dbase of users. (ie: allow you to log in).

Thanks for the report.
