Can we make a forum that lists only "How To"

Can we make a forum strictly for "How To" Threads?
What do you guys think?

For instance, i am trying to find the thread for the power tailgate lock mod and did 3 searches and nothing so far. Also, i want to install some type of puddle light mod either in the mirrors or under the body near the nerf bars. It would be more convenient to find all this stuff in one forum, imo.

I concur that idea - perhaps with some sort of setup that instructs people to put all the relevant details of their truck (model year, engine size, cab size, or whatever it may be) with their posts. I've seen a couple mod posts where they don't even list their model year!

I was thinking more along the lines of just the How To Threads as opposed to the 'mod list' since there is already a sticky for that in this forum.

I have been mulling around the lights on the nerfs as well. I was thinking some weatherproof LEDs mounted on the nerf mounts more under the body and connected to the interior lights.

As far as the tailgate lock I think this is a good write up.

There is also an access panel under the side mirrors most likely for the swivel joint when you fold them in. Seems that could be a good spot if you wanted them under the mirros.

I haven't popped them out to see how much room is under it. There actually may be no room due to that swivel. I wonder if there is room behind the mirror for some inside the mirror flush mounted lights to shine out the underside.

Yeah, a mod approved how-to forum would rock, as long as posts are restricted and/or need approval to post.

I think a HowTo forum would be great.

if everyone that did a write up on something would put "how to" in there post somewhere, you could just search for "how to" and go from there. Or search for "how to" under a specific forum like engines
