Why wont it let me change my gallery cover photo? I even resized the pic to 331 X 248 pixels.

I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. I tried numerous times, and the cover photo wouldn't change, so I gave up. When I logged into my gallery a couple of days later, it had the updated photo. Give it a day or 2 and see if it is updated.
Hopefully, someone with more technical knowledge can jump in to explain further.

What type of file are you uploading? Are you receiving any sort of error message?

 

No error message. Its just a pic of the black 2000 F150 as seen in my album. 600 X 450 pixels, 79492 bytes.


This one (lets see if this works)

 

When you login to your manage your gallery, there is a section called "Gallery Information." To the left of the heading, there is a link labelled "Edit." Click on that and from there you can upload a different primary image for your gallery.

The thumbnails that appear at your gallery (to the right of the large image) cannot be changed.

 

That's what I tried. Uploading the pic from my hard drive. It will let me put them in my album, but not change the cover pic.

 

I'm not sure what to tell you. If you follow the process noted above, you should be able to change the gallery cover image. I just tested the process on two distinct galleries and it worked just fine. Since you can upload images to your albums, that makes it even more perplexing.

 

Would I be able to delete the entire gallery and start over ?

 

I don't think that is necessary. Are you doing what I explained to change the gallery cover image?

The image you posted in an earlier message IS NOT your gallery cover photo, it is a photo in one of your albums.

The gallery cover image is a different size and uses a different naming convention.

Let's make sure we are talking about the same thing, because I do not think we are...

 

The pic I posted above is the pic I wish to make my cover pic. I was able to load it into my album, but unable to upload it from my PC to my cover pic.

 

Maybe try clearing the browser cache?

 

Link the picture from your GALLERY to your COVER PICTURE.

 

Umm, but the image you posted (fullsize version) is your gallery cover image...

The brown 79 F150 that you posted above is currently my cover photo. I wish to make the black 2000 F150 found in my album my cover photo.

When I log into my gallery and press the [edit] to the left of "gallery information", it shows me my current cover photo (the brown 79) and lets me browse for a replacement photo. When I select the new photo (black 2000 F150) from my hard drive and press "update gallery" , the old photo (79 F150) is still there.

I AM able to upload that same photo of the 2000 into my album.
