Avatars
I don't know from Jack Diddly Dang about computers or web sites.
But, I recently joined some sites that deal with military vehicles which are mainly based in Europe (my real hobby is the history of wheeled military vehicles from jeeps to tank transporters) and they have these really cool signatures on the side of the post where there names are. I have also seen some of this stuff on some of the Ricer sites.
I found Avatars on a Google search and I guess you can "order" one that you like.
Question is does our site support Avitars and if so how do we get one added when we make a post. If it eats too much bandwidth I guess we forget it but most are less than a thumbnail in size.

Thanks Doug:
Actually, my first post was confusing (to me too).
The appeal of the avatars was/is that they are cute and small and do not take up a lot of bandwith as our present signature photos and data do. Having said that, do you think it is a big issue to "turn on" user avatars?
Just curious.
