3" body lift installed, how to raise rear bumper?

We spent pretty much all of yesterday installing the PA body lift. 3 Bolts in the bed were too tight and hard to get to so we had to grind the heads off. Front bumper is a little lower than i would like but not too bad. How do you raise the rear bumper? Is there some kit for it or what? My dad said that a luverne drop bumper might fill in the gap, does anybody have experience with those? Thanks

I took mine off, unbolted the brackets and welded them on lower on the bumper. You could probably drill some holes lower on the bumper but these things are tough to drill through. I think a tube bumper would be the way to go but it doesn't look as nice as a chrome bumper. A drop bumper would be good but i think you would still have to drill some new mounting holes.

I just lifted my truck last week. I haven't done the rear bumper yet but I just plan to unbold it (including the bumper mounts) and drill new holes in the frame higher up. I don't know your setup but my bumper mounts in the rear are just bolted on so I'll just move it up with new holes.

I removed 2 of the four bolts on each side, this allowed me to swing the bumper up into place. Then I redrilled 2 of the holes, the other side already had the holes. It worked out really well.

Ford4fun, didnt that put your bumper at a wierd angle? Turning it upwards seems like it would tilt the bumper quite a ways. I am surprised that this isnt mentioned in the kit.

Ok, thanks for the info. I think were having somebody else do it because we dont have a good enough drill to go through the frame with that big of a hole. Next im gettin some different mufflers or straight pipes and some 3.5" stainless tips. I have duals allready but it has quiet mufflers on it.
