when i jot my truck 94 4x4 the spoiler was busted and had been repaired in an other place ,is it a must that i have one? ive seen alot of 4x4s without most of them were 3/4 ton or bigger , a friend told me that without it ide wear out my front tires , idident drive it enough with it on so idont know if it messes with my handling , my tires are new 2k on them and dont show any signs of bad wear but there not that old and it handles great any one have any sug? thanxs Mike
are you talking about that black plastic piece under the bumper? If so that was the first thing I ripped off after I bought my truck, it's been over 2 years w/out it and no problems.
I don't know how it would wear the tires. I do know that on alot of vehicles the air dam creates a vacuum under the vehicle to help suck air through the engine compartment. Without it somes cars will run hot or possibly overheat if the cooling system is in bad shape. However on a truck i think the cooling system is big enough to handle it because it's designed for towing. Besides if you put a lift kit on the truck (like a lot of people do) you screw up all those aerodynamics anyway. I haven't had one on my f-150 in a couple of years, no problems, tires wear great.

Thanks, that is awesome, I wonder what color I should get it painted if I but it. Red, White, or Balck, hmmm. For $150, I could buy some performance stuff, I think I want to be all go and "stock" show LOL, or that is until I get the performance to what I want it to be at, then I can go for looks.
There is absolutly no issues about removing it from the truck. Apart from a little air flow redirection, it is totally cosmetic.

Aww yes, that black thing under the front bumper. I had one once.
Now, it is gone and a more fancier one is in it's place.
Bought it from an accessory shop here in Windsor. It is stainless steel and is from J&J Enterprises out of California. J & J Enterprises
