Hey 91

I think another good question would be if there was an axle size change, or if the splines are the same also. Between 91 and 97/98.,,,,98

I was thinking the same thing, but was under the impression this was just about the ring and pinion. If the entire assembly is at stake, then yes, you need to verify that the spline count on the axles is the same.

Take care,

Exclamation

lotta responses here ,

I'm happy to hear this should work. I just hope my splines are the same Thing is I can do a 20 second burnout with 1 tire, but I don't make as much smoke as I thought I would, LOL I wonder if changing the gears will help roast both tires????? I sure as hell spin them faster though LMAO!

You will on spin both tires, if you have a limited slip, or a locker. Otherwise we get those great 1 wheel burnout lol

Spline count is irrelevant if you're only changing the R&P. If you change the carrier it matters - a lot.

BTW this would be a good time to stick in a Trac-Lok or other limited slip carrier since you're going to have the rear end apat to put in the gears.

New in the original box, Ford Racing 3:73's with the crush sleeve and all the hardware. I wouldn't sell used driveline parts,,,,98
