exhaust question for pre-97

all this supertrapp talk is getting me excited. In my state the emissions laws change like the wind. Maybe I'll keep my cats, have the local exhaust shop split my exhaust after the cats, run dual pipes out the rear and bolt on 2 Supertrapps. My guess on this would be 260 for the Trapps and around 90 for the dual pipes

exhaust

I had a flowmaster exhaust put on my 93 F-150 and it came
unglued.I put on a high flow cat with a catless bassani y-pipe with
3" exhaust and headers.When you add a performance exhaust system you need to upgrade the intake with a high flow air filter charger kit maybe a bigger throttle body etc.

A single larger pipe (3") should do it, unless you really want the duals. You might have to run a few more discs on the muffler, but they will hold around 24 discs even with the stock bolts.
