Yeah, the Thornbirds are about the closest thing that Super Swamper has to an A/T tire. They do look tough, but they aren't much of an off-road tire. And as a matter of fact, I was going to go with the TSL Radials, the 36's, but I don't know if those will fit with a 6" suspension lift. I have a 4" on there right now so I'll wait and see when I get the 6" lift. I really do like the Radials, it's just the size issue, they don't make them in a 35. Really strange.

As far as the BFG M/T, I have a set of Dunlop M/T's, basically the same as the BFG only they measure 1" shorter, and 1" wider. The BFG 35x12.50" tire is pretty narrow, and I prefer to "tire sticking an inch out of the fender" look. Right now, my Dunlops are perfectly flush with the rear fender, and they stick out about 1/2 an inch or so in the front. Anything less than that would be unacceptable. BFG's are great tires, and they do last long and are capable off-road tires, they're just missing the appearance element. I'm going to the off-road shop today to get my grill guard so I think I'll pester the employees a little more with tire questions And, of course, thanks for the suggestions guys!

You may want to check the measurements on the radials. The radials even though they are 36's they are a little narrower and shorter than normal. I learned this by experience.

I have the Super Swamper TSL's hey are loud and vibrate on the street (but i like that) they are totally awesome in the mud, when you hit the throttle the tires spin and fling mud 50 feet behind the truck. You will fly right through the gooeyist mud you can find. I here the boggers are best for sand and they are horrible on the road.

My TSL's are actually wearing really good. I haven't seen much noticable wear in the 2500 miles i've had them on. When i get new ones i might go with TSL radials but i'm not sure yet.

Thanks ford4ever,

It's probably between the TSL Radials, the TSL/SX, and the TSL's. BTW, are you planning on installing 39" Swampers with just the 4" suspension lift and the 3" body lift? If so, are you going to do any fender mods.? 39's with 7" of lift is quite a squeeze, isn't it? But however you manage to do it, you'll have yourself one sweet rig! Not that you don't already

P.S. Do you have any pictures with your body lift?

I can only get 36's on my truck now. I have 6 inch suspension 3 inch body and 4 inch helpers. I may have been able to get a little bigger but it would scrub offroad.
