Which trucks came with the "slotted" front bumper on 93?-96 Trucks? I see these quite a bit on trucks around here and I like how they look. If I can find one for cheap enough, I'd like to put one on my truck. I'm assuming this bumper had something to do with a towing package for extra cooling?
Its hard to find any parts like this in the junkyards around here, that don't cost an arm and a leg. Any one have, or know where i can get one for a reasonable price?

I've got one on my truck, and I use one of the openings for a duct that supplies fresh air to my FIPK. The only trucks I've seen them on are the Eddie Bauer's, but I'm sure others might too. Might try someplace that advertises having Eddie Bauer parts.

Try the dealership at a very very last resort..btw...My 96 Eddie Bauer came stock with a normal bumper and a buddy of mine with a 96 xlt came stock with the slotted one...so I wonder if the bumper was just random or something..I personaly would like the slotted on mine too.I'll let you know if I find one, let everyone know if you do too, I'd like to look into getting one.

 

I know of two '96 XLTs locally that had them. You might get lucky at the local boneyard.

 

Look for one off a diesel pickup. They have a bigger radiator that extends down in to the bumper area.
