I figured that I would share the story of my day trip to Chequamegon National Forest. It started out fine, a nice day. After several miles off roaring I got into a tight spot and all of a sudden my truck died. It was right around sun down. I ended up spending the night sleeping in my truck in the woods. It was rather chilly. A tow; $300, new starter; $214 and a new power steering pump; $109 later I was back on the road, with a squealing belt. All of that plus about $200 in fuel and a night's stay in a hotel all added up to about $1000. Yee Ha!

 

It died while running and it needed a starter?

I was tinkering with the starter connections and one of them broke off.

 

Sounds like a "fun" time. Maybe bunnies should stay out of the woods.

 

Especiallythose Easter type ones.....

 

Yep ......off roading can get quite expensive in a hurry....breakdowns add up real quick...glad you're home now....
