'86 Wont Start - Have pressure at fuel rail
Hey,
I have an 86 F150. It will crank over but it will not start. I did get it to start a couple of times but after about 20-30 seconds it will quit. I have already replaced fuel pump, and both fuel filters.
This has been a battle for about a month of working on it off and on.
I am at a loss of what to do, so any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Is it EFI? I've had a few '86 5.0L trucks/broncos. I had a similar problem with each of them, it always turned out to be the "ignition module". If I remember right it was some little gizmo that bolted on or next to the distributor. Fixed it right up. Sorry, but it's been 10 years since my last '86 Ford, so the details are a little fuzzy.
Also, I always had to carry spare fuel pump relays (though that doesn't sound like your problem if you have fuel pressure)
