kyle1988f150 unhooking the battery while its running would not fry the computer. That is a old trick to test to see if your alternator is charging.I really haven't heard of on of these computers getting fried that much but i could be wrong.

 

Your going to have to check your fuel pressure and that it is in limits by using a test gauge. The 3 foot spray in the air tells you nothing. Go to a parts store and borrow one. Get a Haynes manual and use it for troubleshooting.
