What is wrong with seafoam?
I have been using it for years and never had a problem with it...If anything it always helps.

The only fuel additives that work are Techron and Gumout with Regane. The only stuff you should put in the oil to desludge it is AutoRX. All other fuel and oil additives are snake oil.

If you are gonna put anything else in the gas or oil, you might as well use kerosene or Stoddard solvent - it's a lot cheaper and will do essentially the same thing.

All a matter of opinion I guess...But I understand, and thanks for the input on it.
I only fill the tank with 89 oct from Cheveron so my tank gets a healthy amount of techron in it. And I have never heard of AutoRX before...I guess ill have to read up on it!

If you use Chevron gas, you should never need to use a gas additive.

AutoRX is ester-based, not solvent-based, and is the safest way to clean a crankcase.
