russo2, is yours a shortbox as well? From your pic it looks like it is the 8ft bed...
I enjoy the truck so far...got back from the mec last night and he told me my rear drums are rusted closed. Great...So now I got penitrating grease on them and hope'n that in a week it will be good. I know the back brakes aren't engaging at the moment so I know I have to get new pads and such.

It is a short bed. The short bed is actually almost 7' long anyway.
That picture in my sig is from a panoramic app for droid, it got messed up though so the fender looks retarded.

Nice, how much lift do you have on yours?
You still run 31's on yours?

No lift, still running 31's
For some reason it seems like my truck sits higher than all the other ones I've seen like it, I want 33's and could easily fit them. But then I need new wheels and tires and will get worse mileage, so it's gunna wait till I don't have to drive so much for clinicals and whatnot.

yea I have been fighting weather or not I should get 32's or stay with my 31x10.5R15's...But I would rather just get some airbags for all for sides.

Why airbags?
I had toyed with the idea of a level. Figured until I can afford to just replace all the front parts, I.E. ball joints tie rod ends all the bushings and such, it wouldn't be worth it.
It will probably end up staying stock until i have something else I really like.
Don't plan on ever getting rid of it though, not much into it and not gunna get anything out of it with 250k miles and rust popping up everywhere now.

Airbags for the ride quality and such. I dont ever tow nor haul anything really more then 300lbs max. I had an 89 toyota pickup with airbags all around and it was smooth as glass even with the 35's I was turning on it.

No. The 300 ZF S5-42 F-150 combo was availaible in the late 80's trucks. Not sure until what year, so I ask to gather data.

His truck is a 91, hence the m5. What f150 had a zf?! Cause I want one. I know like 87's had a couple different ones including a t18 or t19
And bigboy, I would never pay a mechanic to pull this trans, it's so light you can almost do it yourself.
Dry the trans weighs like 80-90 mounts.

'87 300 trucks were only available with the T18 and TOD. T19 was for the diesels. I've stripped a '90 300 S5-42, but it was a 4x2 so not worth a gold mint like a 4x4 unit.

Well it was a t18 then. Truck was an extended cab with a cap and everything was bright yellow. Ugliest truck on the face of the earth.
I've seriously never heard of the zf in a 150. I know they are in the 250.
