I dunno if the new truck has decent rims on them or not, but if you want my stock rims, there yours, just come and get em. They've only got maybe 70,000 miles on them, and look brand new.

That was me that asked what it was like. I chose to delete instead of making you rehash it again. You got enough going on without curiousity seekers. WHAT IN GOD'S NAME IS WESTBORO COMING THERE FOR!?!?! Why? These idiots protesting soldiers funerals is the biggest slap in the face for anyone with a shred of decency and now it's tornado victims? The fact they call themselves a church and claim to have a belief in god nauseates me. Attention seeking self righteous idiots trying to make an awful situation worse and say that it's what god wants.

Thanks booba!!! I appreciate that. I'm hoping that my aftermarket ones are ok. Ive only had them 2 months. They look ok minus the center caps. And if they're not it would be a damn good excuse to snag Glc and take a trip to Ava I haven't had any time to even look at the other truck yet. I've been pretty busy taking care of the family and myself. I understand that it is a 150 custom with 300 six with a blown 5speed. The owner wants to keep the motor and I get the rest for $500. I see it as having extra parts. Plus ill have the option of putting a stick behind my 302. I know I may need a new ecu for a stick but it would be nice. BTW what would be a good, durable, quick shifting manual that will fit in these trucks? I can get a T5 all day around here but will they work in the truck as far as placement? I figure a 5spd ZF will work too, but can they shift quickly? Any way when I get the new truck ill post pics immediately.

Yeah I know. I dislike the WBCult as well. I have come across them a few times as a member of the Patriot Guard Riders. They're a bunch of lunatics. I know all to well the emotions that these idiots make someone feel. You just want to grab one and strangle the life outta them. Well unfortunately that is murder. So the best thing you can do is just ignore them and not give them any play. It worked at a fallen soldiers funeral in Lamar, MO. They were there for maybe 15 minutes and left without saying a word because nobody said anything to them. Not to mention none of the merchants in town would serve them. They couldn't even get a hotel room!!! any way we are getting off topic.

Still off topic, it looks like WBC was prevented from disturbing the service yesterday - the truckers boxed them in out at the Flying J. Some lunatic did get into town - it's unclear whether he was WBC or not - and after a minor altercation with the Patriot Guard and some pepper spray he was escorted out of town by the po-po.

If you want a quick shifting 5 speed, use a stock m5OD and get a hurst shifter.
The m5 isn't by any means a beefy trans butttt I have the hurst and it's amazing, to say the least.

Just read the posts here. Glad you & family are ok. I think it's great you're going to rebuild. I changed the entire body on a F150 back in 1984, bed, cab, core support, fenders & hood. Truck had a 69 429 c6, was worth the swap.

Anyhow, I'd suggest taking pictures of your current setup, especially the wiring & fuel routing. It helps to label connections & match with pictures. Look forward to your posts on Twister's progress.

Thanks for the advice on the trans and taking pictures. I regrettably have some bad news. The cab has been displaced 3 inches and I'm fighting FEMA for a grant to help with things. I'm sure I can get everything done but it will take longer without them. It looks as though I will be swapping my drive train into the other truck. There is a visible bend in my frame. I plan to part out everything useable and worthwhile and take the rest to the crusher. its a long road to hoe but it will be worth it.

Well more bad news. I just received a letter from FEMA and it seems for now they have declined to give me a grant due to "insufficient damages!" So now ill send the same pics I've posted here along with an accurate description of the damages to my truck and appeal. They're acting like I want a brand new truck or something. This is ridiculous!

Just out of curiousity.... How's your house? Was it damaged? How's your arm? The tornado in Joplin is still making the news in Pittsburgh.

Keep appealing, I bet you'll get it. Denying your first claim might be common practice. Definitely don't give up.

Nice sig, never seen one quite like that lol.
