they look close to the expensive ones except a little taller and without the flat part on the one side, is that part crucial?

 

that actually goes underneath the SPRING, not on top of the strut..note the shape of the top of spacer. Dont know how they would work out

 

That is how all of them for the ttb suspension work, there is no strut like your truck may have.

 

that front end alignment is going to cost you lots and lots of money. honestly i see where you're coming from trying to save money and go the cheap route but the alignment is going to be in the $200+ range. it would be better to get a real lift kit with the drop pivot point and everything you need. its going to cost you about the same whichever way you go. might as well do it properly. also these spacers cause more wear and tear on your ball joints than a real lift would... just keep all this in mind when deciding

 

What would make the alignment cost so much?
I was going to get the daystar level kit, then after figuring in shocks and alignment it wouldn't even be worth it compared to a full RC lift.
I know alignment of the ttb is complicated, but 200 dollars?

 

i know from experience. i had a 1.75" leveling kit installed and when i went to get an alignment they wanted to charge me 217 i believe it was. so i just took them off. they sell adjustable camber bushings that will help you bring your alignment cost down but i still dont recommend going that route. maybe this will help you understand

I read that the other day, just makes me hate fords design even more.
Like I said before, I understand the complexity of the ttb system, but 200+ fir alignment seams down right outrageous.

 

Equipment, time, labor, and skills add up quick.

For 200+ it better be a life time, no questions asked alignment. And at that price if you wheel it, I don't think its to bad.
