lifting an 80-96 alignment???
I have personally lifted an 84 Bronc and now my 93 F150 Flare Side 2"s. The Bronc with springs and now the truck with Daystar spacers. I believe anything 2" and under can be aligned correctly with Adjustable Caster/Camber bushings. The alignment bushings I bought allowed for up too 4 degrees of caster change and I found them at NAPA. I didn't use all of that 4 degrees so could probably go a bit higher. I did add a bit of caster back with them as well. The truck, as did the bronc, tracks strait, the steering wheel returns to center well, and I have no adverse tire wear as it is aligned correctly. I aligned it in my garage with tape measure and angle finder. I had my buddy at Firestone check it and confirm that it was in spec.
I chose the spacers over a new coil as I wanted to maintain the softer stock spring rate. All of the coils I looked at have a much higher spring rate except the Deaver Superflex coils which are made for a solid axle. They can be used but you have to switch to that style lower bucket and cut them down for the ride height you want. I may use them to add a couple inches of lift inthe future. Then I know I will also add TTB drop brackets because the caster will be out so far the adjustable caster cambers brackets won't work by themselves. I may or may not go with an extended radius arm.
I adjusted the rear springs by taking out the thick overload leaf and replaced it with leaf I shortened from another F150. It rides nicely.
