'91 F150 Front End Update

Anyone know where I can find clear headlights for the '91-earlier body style F150? There is plenty of stuff out there for the '92+. Wanted to update the front end of the truck to look a little more modern.

To my knowledge you cannot get clear headlights for the 87-91 trucks. You can get the clear corners (AFTparts.com) They come with or without the chrome moldings

I feel exactly the same way about my '90. I'm hoping fresh lenses clear corners and a billet grille will help.

AFAIK, the only readily available clear corners for the 87-91s are the chrome trimmed versions. i looked for 6-8 months before i found a set w/o the chrome trim and they were used and a corner is cracked. if u want a real different front end, check out the australia f-series trucks (i think they're gens ran slighly askew to ours). its a little odd but different.

I don't understand why there isn't a clear headlight available, LMC has the 'euro' style headlights for 80-86 and 92-96 but nothing different that stock for 87-91
Shouldn't someone be making parts to clean up the ugly year of truck more so than the good looking ones?

My lenses are very "yellow" what is the best way to make them look new? Wet sand down and then buff out or just replace? Also the chrome on the truck that spots/pits that won't come out when watching what can I do to bring the chrome back to life? Getting ready to go through this truck one step at a time and want to get all this looking good before I worry about getting the whole truck painted. Also getting ready to install 4.56 gears and get the A/C worked on! Between this truck and my stang...I'm broke! hehe

The best thing for those lenses is to just replace them. Some of the chrome does get pitted, just how it was. Best to replace them too.

What all is needed to do a '92 Front-Clip swap on a 1991 truck? Hood, Grille, Lights, Bumper, and Fenders? I didn't know the bodystyles were so similar...will all the body lines still line up?

LMC says that there is a small lip on the bottom of the door of a 92+ so I'm not sure if the fenders from a 92 would line up with the doors of a 91.

Yes, they will line up just fine. The 95-96 have an extra line at the bottom of the door but it does not continue to the cab.
