My Toy

I havent ever posted a pic of it so i thought i would.......

77 f150 Ranger , 4" suspension lift , 3" body lift , 38x15.50 Mickey Thompson MTZ , rebuilt 400 with 350 miles on it , open headers and a auto transmission.........

Thats a sweet looking truck, body looks like my buddies 79 2wd with a 460 I'm trying to talk him into selling to me

73-79 are the same body style....... grilles vary by year though.....

Very nice truck!

I know 78's had round headlights except for the Ranger model. Not sure what/if there were other models with square headlights in 78 but 79 is when they went to square.

ive been thinking of buying one of those too... and putting an axle under the front of it

73-77 had split grilles with round headlights , 78s had the ugly(hex shape) grilles with round headlights and 79s had the ugly(hex shape) grilles and are the only year with square headlights.....

I agree jdruzik , you dont see many split grilles around here.....most are 78s or 79s....... the one thang i can not stand is when somebody asks me if my truck is a 79 , i just wanna knock there head off
