Does your horn and cruise control work? Mine don't on my '94 F-150 and my air bag light is flashing. I figure my clockspring is broken. It's been a while since I paid any attention to the code mine is flashing, but it seems like it's 5-1.

Yes the 1994 is on recall for the cruise control. I already had the recall business done on mine. Ironically the cruise control quit on mine shortly after the repair. That's when my clockspring must have broken. My airbag is flashing a 3-2 code, that's the last time I'll trust my memory. Good luck with your '94.

No, it was working before they done the recall retrofit. I think they just install something by the brake master cylinder as part of the recall retrofit. It shouldn't take very long. My son had it at school over 200 miles from where I live and he took it in to get something else repaired, and that's when they done the recall work.

When you take yours in for the recall work, they'll probably just put the retrofit on that's supposed to prevent it from catching fire. They'll likely tell you if you want your clockspring fixed so your horn and cruise will work it'll be out of your pocket.

What do you expect on a 16 year old vehicle? The recall only covers a specific part that's a fire hazard. The clockspring is way past warranty.
