I have a thread "recent rebuild and running rich" and my problem turned out to be a bad fuel regulator. It will not kick a code because it's mechanical and not electrical.
I had all the same problems you indicate. When I removed the three screws that hold the regulator on and turned it upside down, gas ran out of the vacuum side.
Good luck

Try backprobing with voltmeter on your tps and iac to see if the numbers are all correct. Is it only at idle that it is funky? Check your plug wires to make sure you didnt mix them or maybe one is not secure.

That fuel regulator is a little hard to get to but not really hard to remove. I don't remember what size allen wrench but the three screws come out pretty easy. The vacuum line just slips off the nipple.

ok so i put msd coil in and few other things now when i open the shredder valve the gas just seems to bubble out not spray.... i dont have a fuel pressure tester but that seems odd to me...i switch from back to front tank and no difference seems to be running really rich and hot...could both fuel pumps be weak? no clue when they were last changed all i know is they are 280 a pump and i don't mind spending that if i know that it will fix the problem...any pumps that i had to change just quit on me never got weak...thats whats getting me curious..

Both of my pumps went out at the same time so yes it could happen. But I would get the pressure checked b4 you go to that trouble and cost.
