1994 dome light cover

hi, i was changing the dome light in my truck, and i noticed that the dome light was SIGNIFICANTLY brighter with the cover off. does anyone know if there is somewhere i can buy a clear cover for the dome light, not like the yellowish one i have now? thanks

I kinda like the "back porch yellow bug light" look...

There were some on ebay awhile ago. If they aren't there now, just keep checking.

Does you dome light look like this?

https://www.ebay.com/itm/272081675191

You can try led lights to brighten up the light.

Try LMC trucking. they might have a clear replacement??? just a guess though

EDIT: i just searched for about 30 minutes with no luck. i even started googling it. nothing. Would it be possible to install a newer trucks dome lamp though? Like a 97-03 one?

Chunk that chrome POS & swap in the plastic style. It's a direct-fit upgrade. I put it in my '83.

.

If you can't find a good one for less than $20, e-mail me thru my profile here or on SMN.
