Hey guys. Taking my front tank out. What's the best way to cap the vent, return, and supply lines from that tank?

Do you know which type of selector setup you have? My '95 has the in tank Fuel Delivery Module, which would probably be the easiest to deal with. From what I've heard all 4x4s had it in '95 but some 2 wheel drives had one of the other setups. I think my Haynes manual shows them all. I'll try to check it out for you as soon as I have some time.
All I know is my truck has a 2 position switch on the dash. Each tank has it's own pumps, and supply, vent, and return lines. There are a setup of silver boxes that both tanks run through and then up to the engine.

Jason,
If you're replacing the tank, depressurize the fuel system by pushing the fuel inertia button and cranking the engine for minute or two. Then clamp off the hoses going to your tank aways back from the tank. If you're changing the fuel pump in that front tank, consider pulling the bed off/back instead. Much easier to do. Pull the six bed bolts/nuts, unhook your back lights, take the tailgate off, loosen the fuel filler hose clamp(s) and get a buddy to help you lift/slide the bed straight back until you can access the font fuel tank/pump. This will save you ALOT of time, frustration and cussing. You'll only have to move the bed back about 1.5 to 2 feet to get access to the tank/pump. Good luck

Jason,
I checked out my book and there are several options.
1. Does your truck have an external fuel pump?
2. How many "silver boxes"? Only count the ones that look like valves or regulators.
Try to narrow it down. Shouldn't be too hard either way, I just don't want to type all the info for all the possible combos.
