Question Heater Question

Well,
winter is here and I still haven't fixed my heater.
The temp control **** gets snug when I turn it to the warm side, and no heat, just cool air.
I know there is a TSB out on this SPECIFIC symptom. But that is all I have.Anybody else have to deal with this one?

Just some ideas:
Radiator low on coolant, and heater core air bound?
When well warmed up, is the heater hose from block to firewall hot?
Is the return heater hose back to water pump hot?
If the temp. control lever moves like its hooked up to something, sort of stiff, then the blend door is probably moving.
