i understand you have done a lot of stuff to the truck, and i agree that she is crazy to think 6K, but nonetheless, it is HER truck, that she lets you drive.

good luck to you.
I gotta agree here Buzz saw. you and I have talked before and you sound like a level headed nice guy but this is your Mother and you need to respect that. If you don't like the price she wants for the truck then go buy one some where else. the price is high but I love my 95 and I would not sell it for that ether even though I only paid 3,000 for her.

always respect your mother always

Consider this a lesson - life is not fair, even with family.

Before you dumped money in excess of what was required to keep it on the road to get you where you needed to be , suggest that you should have considered getting a better maintain/purchase agreement.

I feel for ya. You had expectations expressed through dollars and labor that don't seem to be playing out as you hoped. Very disappointing to one's esteem.

Yeah, it's a bite in the shorts, but on the brighter side, consider it a bonus to your higher education efforts.

Or, as I like to say, and unfortunately it too often comes true, 'no good deed goes unpunished'.

i understand where you are coming from. but trust me, and i know tis sounds cliche, but one of these days you will look back at this and say one of two things... im glad i worked this out, or i cant stand myself for letting something so trivial ruin my relationship with my mother.

might as well get used to it though, life will bite you in the *** a thousand more times!

I can't help but think there's something that's not being said here. I'd like to see your mom's side of the story.

yeah me too. And buzz im 18 and ive bought both of my vehicles with HARD earned money. Granted that my parents helped me a little for this f150 its still mine. You will have to do these kinds of things to make it through. And also this is another lesson for you. Before doing anything to somebody elses stuff ask them if youll get anything out of it!!!! Make sure you know the terms of agreement before agreeing to something like that! I know its hard but its just gonna be that way. My friend was in the same situation. Trust me it happens to everyone at some point.

yah i officially talked to her tonight about it.. she still thinks of it as money to her like 6 or 7 thousand.. she was like "no way would i sell to you for only 2 or 3.."

and pretty much.. im dont putting anything into it.. not ganna fix the exhaust leak with my christmas money or the oil gasket leak.. she made me pay for tires and all... ****ing gay.. then my bro's car.. she pays for the **** on it like oil cahnges and all... she just abuses the fact that I have money saved up becuase I have a job.. I have like over 1000$ saved up so she makes me pay for all this ****.. **** this. unless car is undrivable i aint ganna put 1 cent into it

Buzz just go and give your Mom a Big hug and a kiss and tell here that you love here and you understand why she did what She did. you will be surprised what miracles that will work.

let me know what happens
