i think that works out to 17L/100 km

not bad but not great

17 litres/100kM

62.5 miles/(17/3.785)gal = 13.9 MPG

That's a bit too low for a 2WD, low to normal for a 4WD that doesn't see much highway in the mix.

84' F150 4 wheel drive with a 351w. Last time I averaged it out as accurately as I could get it, it came to about 9.5 mpg give or take per each tank.
That is with me not driving conservative really at all, since I usually have my foot to the floor passing and taking the little ricers off the line .

Was riding on 36's prior to the 33's, but never averaged out the mpg for those. I'm certain it was a hell of a lot worse with the 36's.

'93 5.8L with the E4OD, 4x4, gets at the absolute best 14 on the highway, more like 9 around town. If I really stretch the rear tank I get 200 miles off it. Thing is, I can be towing a 5000lb boat, and still get 10 highway. Whereas my parents 07 Explorer gets an average of 20, towing the same boat it plunges down to just a tad over 8. Then again, it only has a 4.0 veesix.

96 f150 4wd 5.0 I get around 14mpg city and around 16ish hwy, I thought I was doing pretty bad but I guess I'm about average. Though i am still awaiting the final result of my full tank with a new fuel filter, hopefully that will help. Later.

yea im getting around 14 mpg i think im still waiting till my tank hits E

im at 240 km and im at less then a quarter of a tank (on 55L that i filled it with) so i think thats 14 mpg

My work truck gets 11 mpg mixed 50/50--city/hwy, and right around 9mpg in the winter since my hubs are locked al the time then. When towing it doesn't matter if I have 3000 lbs behind or 7000lbs it gets 9mpg. The best mileage that I ever remember the truck getting when is was basically bone stock was 17 hwy, but most of the time it averaged around 14mpg.

My work truck is a 94 F150 300-6/5spd, 4X4, reg cab long box, 4.10 gears f/r, detroit locker in the rear, auburn posi up front, with 3" of lift and 33" M/T's.

My brother has a '92 F-150 Supercab shortbed 4x2 with a 302 and auto tranny with 3.05 gears that has 245,000 miles on it and that thing can usually pull 18-20 mpg at 70 mph on the highway, so Id say that 14 mpg for a 4x2 isnt very good.
Make sure you have a clean air filter and looking into new sparkplugs, wires, cap and rotor, make sure the tires are not underinflated and maybe even replace the fuel filter.
I always thought that 302s were pretty good on gas, so if you are only getting 14 mpg either you need to do the things I mentioned above, your engine is just tired and worn-out or you have a lead foot.
