Fuel filter change

Simply take off the clips as shown in the photos.
Then open the fuel line tool with the protruding end facing away from the filter. The protruding end will enter into the fitting, and push on a spring loaded relase that allows the line fitting to slide out of the flange on the filter.
Make sure your replacement filter has the line and fitting of the same or greater length. Some are shorter and so small they keep the fuel line tool from getting in there once they are seated.
All you really have to do is push a spring on the inside of the line fitting. It will make sense once you remove the clip.
