Thanks Dan. I am really lovin life right now. It's like a new truck. I was wondering who was going to ask about the quad shocks. On this generation supercab F150, the quad shock option was not offered (for no discernable reason, because with the heavier cab, you need it more!!!). However, on the standard cab trucks, the quad shocks were available. I went to the dealer, told them I had a standard cab with quad shocks, and bought new towers. I claim no credit for this ingenius move - it was my suspension mechanic's idea. That guy is a serious 4x4 suspension artist. He aint cheap, though. The kit itself was about $1500, but total of parts for this job was close to 2k, including some unexpected parts that needed replaced. He had the truck on the lift for 5 days, and charged me about $1500 for the labor. This included steering linkage and ball joint repairs, and frame repairs in 2 spots - see pics below.

 

Truck looks like it's in real good shape.

 

thats actually an awesome idea maybe ill try it, after seeing this this morning i made a call and am waiting on a price for the same lift should get a call tommorow. i love the way it looks and need the smooth ride so hopefully soon enough ill be lovin life as well.

Ride is super smooth, truck sits real nice. It's up there. I had a 4" kit b4, and the truck is almost 3.5" higher now. Let me know how it goes for you.

 

maybe we should have a meet somwhere between nj and pa, just for 92-96 if possible, love to see whats around. maybe find out where people go for work on trucks and wheelin...

Quad shocks could be had on any F150 or Bronco with the snow plow or towing prep package.

Sure thing, BMX. Were goin wheelin this weekend up at Paragon. I'm sure it's not too late to join us if you can run on short notice. Were camping up there tomorrow night, and wheelin Saturday. It looks like all later model F150's in our group, except me. Otherwise, I've never been in Jersey mud, so if you know of any, I'd definately head east next time.


Good info Adrian. Your knowledge of these trucks always impresses me. And yes, I know - the tires look small now. I almost had my buddy talked into buyin them.
