I believe there were a total of 4 ratio choices and then a limited slip option.

You need to post the door jam sticker axle code.

Thanks, I will in the morning after I get off work. I was curious because it feels like it has no *** in O/D when going uphill.

of course it doesnt. Its a TRUCK, with a 302

I only use 5th gear when in the flats, unloaded.

Mine's an auto and I gotta mash the gas so it'll downshift. Oh well it was free.

That's a 3.55 open diff. Whatever your issues are, the ring and pinion ratio is not among them.
