I believe there were a total of 4 ratio choices and then a limited slip option.
You need to post the door jam sticker axle code.

of course it doesnt. Its a TRUCK, with a 302
I only use 5th gear when in the flats, unloaded.

That's a 3.55 open diff. Whatever your issues are, the ring and pinion ratio is not among them.
