Can help Identify?
I bought a 91 Ford F150 w/ 170k. Sure it has a ton of miles.. But it runs and only cost $550
Anyhow I'm new to Ford and to trucks. But I'm hoping to figure out a few towing details.
It has a stock hitch on the bumper and E40D tranny. How much can I tow? Does anyone know how I can identify if I have the towing package on my car?

The auto trans towing ratings for the 300 and 302 are very similar
The factory towing package would have an auxilliary trans cooler mounted in front of the radiator and a trailer pigtail in the factory harness, not spliced in after the fact. IIRC the factory pigtail is a 7 prong Bargman not a 4 prong
