Pre-1997 F150 specifications

I've looked for the pre-1997 F150 specifications (payload, weights, wb lengths, etc) but I can't find them online anywhere.

Does anybody know where I can find pre-1997 series specs? I can find the 2000 and up specs at fordtrucks.com but not the pre-1997 ones.

Thanks a lot.

I have a 94 Ford Fseries order guide, and am working on posting the photos and specs. Most of the way done doing the same thing with my 97 order guide. Should get a lot done over my winter break here...

I don't know where online they are, but I have a decent library of factory service, pre-delivery, and factory specs books and manuals. Was there something specific you wanted to know?

I wanted to know the payload of the pre-1997 models (say 1990-1997).

I'm interested in getting something like a 1995 supercab, 4x4, longbed. I'd like to know what kind of payload to expect, with either the 302 or the 5 liter engine. Also towing specs.

Thank you in advance and have a Merry Christmas.

Nice looking truck there.

Yeah that's what I meant. Sorry. Got confused between liters and cubic inches.

I meant the payload and towing specs for the 302 and the 351 equipped F150's.

Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas.

I'll look it up for sure, but having that truck in the past we towed with trailer brakes a 8000lb gooseneck no problems. Would also haul up to about 3000 in the bed. Keep in mind this was with a stick shift and it is real easy to find a bigger truck to move those kind of weights now. What are you looking to tow?

I love those 5 speed numbers... Try a 8000lb gooseneck daily back in the day. Some times over 12k.

You should write a letter to Ford. Maybe they'll give you a trophy or something.
