My 1994 f150 4x4 5.0 stalls big time when i try to press the gas, it doesn't die but you can hear the intake drawing in air. It can idle for days, but stalls when on the gas in park,reverse,drive,neutral.
Any Help?

No it doesn't idle high. But I noticed that the exhaust gas is not flowing as it should from the tailpipes.

 

Your cats are clogged.

 

i agree, have your cats tested , theyre most likely clogged

 

just pull the O2 sensor, and it if runs then you know your problem. the hole from the O2 bung will let enough flow out to let you know what is up.

 

Thanks guys for the help, anyway today i decided that the cat's gotta go bye bye. Put in some straight pipe where the cat was and the old ford rides again. Took me about half a day to complete but well worth it.
