If your truck is a 1994 with a push button OD, then it is definitley not an AOD transmission. It must be the AODE version. I have a 1990 with an AOD tranny, and the gear indicator looks like this:

P R N O D 1

Where the O is a D with a circle around it for OD. There is no button on the column shifter at all. It is a mechanical change going from D to OD, not an electrical one. The difference between the AOD and the AODE is that the AODE is electronically controlled, whereas the AOD is mechanically controlled, as Beastie said. If you're going from an AOD to an AODE, this probably makes for a difficult swap since you need to obtain electronic parts that your truck does not currently have, which can be expensive. However, I believe it is a little easier going from an AODE to an AOD, but I am by no means a transmission expert. However, it doesn't sound like you're gonna run into these problems as both trucks seem to have the AODE, or at the very least an electronic four speed OD automatic transmission. However, I'm not sure which trucks came with the AODE and which ones came with the E4OD, or what the difference is. All I know is that you do NOT have the AOD transmission.

TF now I get what you are saying. I read what you said fast than repyled. Now I re read what you said now it makes more sense to me. The guy doing the job is taking car of every thing he got the 94 F-150 he has a place to do. The only place I have to do is out side and I wasn’t going to lay in the cold to do this job. The Garage at my house has a 67 GT 390 convertible mustang in it my dad wasn’t going to let my leave that out side. So the guy sad every thing is going to work I hope it dos I don’t really wanna spend any more money on this Transmission thing. I will let you know how it turns out.

The early '90's was right around the time they started going to electronically controlled trannies. So you should be okay. Good luck with everything, hope it works out.
