Thanks

Can't help, those numbers came out of the shop manual for my 96. My 93 Mustang shop manual lists the 93 HO cam as .278 at cam and .442 at valve. The Corba camis .2822 at cam and .4797 at valve. That's all I've got.

The best prices I've been able to find for the 1.7:1 rockers are about $300. Anyone have a link to try with a bettter price? I was alaso thinking of trying a larger TB. Anyone tried one with an H.O. motor and stock EFI? If so, what were your experiences?

Those are roller tipped rockers, not full rollers. The true roller rockers also have a needle bearing fulcrum.

The Ford Racing roller rockers are manufactured by Crane, so shop accordingly. The least expensive I've seen are the Crane "Energizers" @ $189.99, the most expensive are the Crane "Gold" @ $395.99 (Jeg's prices)

These things are so common. Just shop around the stang classified web sites ie www.corral.net, AustinAreaSTangs.net, DFWstangs.net, or www.stangnet.com. I have bought a couple sets off these sites for my car and truck and only paid 125 to my door each time.
Good Luck

Perhaps I'm blind or didn't look in the right place. All I saw on corral was complete engines and stag only had this set for $349!

The ones from summit look appealing, but I wonder about the quality. Does inexpensive = Cheap? Reliability is a must for me as it is my commuter truck.

Summit's private brand stuff is largely cheap as well as inexpensive; don't know if that's true of their roller rockers or not. Stick with a name brand: Crane, Ford Racing, CompCams, Harland Sharp, etc.

You need to look in the classifieds sections (ie used parts). Not the adds on the web page itself. Keep looking. They are there

I've missed most of this but, what tranny do you have ? Stick or auto?By the sounds of it you have an auto. When my truck was short shifting I had to readjust my kickdown to the tranny. That was after replacing the tranny, but its just a thought.

It is the AOD. I've adjusted the cable in already. You're right, I should be able to adjust it a little more, but I already have to back off some to get it to go into OD. That tells me, I'm already a little too tight. Hopefully this weekend, I'll get a chance to chage the fluid and do a service on it. I really shouldn't need it yet, (rebuilt 3k ago) but it's all I have left in my bag of tricks. I'll keep ya'll posted.
