My Predictions
Chris Matthews did apologize and his comment was stupid.

There are a lot of reasons the election went the way that it did. I think that one of the main reasons is, though us "right wingers" are supposed to be the ones who are lead by the nose by the "right wing media", it's pretty clear by some of the posts in this thread, by videos circulating the internet, and by the vote tallies that a majority of the voting public have been taught their talking points by the MSM. The democrats and the MSM lead a brilliant campaign.
Maybe I'm just being pessimistic, but I'm wondering if we're ever going to come back from this acceleration to the far left. I think that we may have already crossed the line. There are just too many people who depend on, and/or believe that the government is best at providing for the needs of the public. Any party serious about addressing the real issues in our country can't ever win election, because they will have to run on repairing the damage of a half century (or more) of increased government dependancy
I can't do anything about who people vote for. All I can do is plany my route through life accordingly.

Agreed and if you think otherwise than this "group love gangbang" we have going on your a jerk. It's an unfortunate situation and I'm worried since I'm in the minority in that regard in my generation. Also, we have less say since there is more minorities voting and they go for Democratic candidates. I think the parties on both sides have there issues and to be quite honest, the people that should lead in the various offices would never get elected. It's a shame and the races involve too much personal attacks. The MA senate race was brutal.
Where is the other media outlets shining a flash light on it ( like they do anytime Rush says something stupid ) ?
- Never seen from again, swept under the rug, as if it never happened.
Never saw the media outlets go after him for his revenge mistake. He was talking out his rear, and blamed Romney for something Obama said.
- Again the deafening silence from the media indicates something.
Mattews apologizing does not mean the media does not have a bias.
I know this goes against anything you believe, as you don't want to think you have been given talking points and sound bites that do tell the whole story....
Then again, the post up the page about "the good read on Bain" is an indicator of how well you are being lead to water, and willingly drink.

In Chicago, there was an obvious mix of white and brown faces. I honestly did not see a single dark skinned person in Boston. Surely there were SOME there, but if they were, they were well-hidden.

It was dark and they weren't smiling..............

It's not really a prediction since it's already happening, but you are going to see more and more forced to do things like this: http://www.examiner.com/article/papa...e-to-obamacare
I may be one of them, pending a chat with my accountant.
How in the world can there be meaningful job growth with this behemoth known as "Obamacare" hanging over our heads?

Disclaimer: I am in no way trying to lower the horror of being raped. I am merely pointing out that being forced to buy something you don't want or feel you need is a violation of a person right to pursue happiness.
Why are you being so racist and greedy? If you just went along with the program everything would be fine, just like if a rape victim just went along with her attacker it wouldn't hurt so much.

I'm amused at how the right wing pundits have engaged en mass in blaming everyone and everything other than the GOP for the election losses. Why can't they just admit the GOP ran a faulty campaign and be done with it? My guess is, the bright ones in the party (and there are plenty of those) know this and are planning serious changes in strategy right now as a prelude to the 2014 midterm elections. In fact, I've heard some of the more intelligent members of the right owning up to their mistakes and proposing steps they must take to correct the balance.

I have a feeling that things are going to get a lot worse before they get better. I'll also bet that a large percentage of the people will still blame George "The Boogie Man" W Bush for all the problems since the anointed one can do no wrong.

That post above is noise. The free stuff crowd is growing, and that's why Obama won. There were precincts in Philly that actually went over 99% Obama.
The election is over and the current administration is going to be responsible for massive job losses in the future. That leaves businesses with the dilemma of how to remain profitable and obey Obamacare. Is John Schnatter (and others who are not going to be so bold as to go public with the truth) a bad businessman for doing what he needs to do to remain profitable? Of course not. Anyone who has run a successful business like his for years on end doesn't get it done by accident. And he has access to advisors/accountants that will give him all the options where he can make an informed decision.
In the end--and you can blame Bush, or Clinton, Or Bush Sr, or Reagan or Carter--this debacle that is known as the Obama Administration is going to continue to play the game of "Let's Try This And See What Happens" until 2016. And maybe by then another 3,000,000 or so Americans will awake from their slumber and realize what an "Amateur" (Bill Clinton's description of Obama) this President is and go another direction in 2016.

In a democratic society, not everyone gets what he or she feels he or she wants or needs. But, you can generally pursue happiness anyway. Those of you who have overcome adversity know this to be true. The easy choice is to just give up and sink into despair. To prevail in the face of disappointment takes work.

Make no mistake we are in a death spiral. If you want to see what our future holds, look to Europe. Specifically look to the PIGS that is our economy in a few years. The Dems answer seems to be to raise taxes on the wealthy and cut spending on the military. Do you realize that even if the most drastic spending bill, sequestration, goes into effect it will only cut 700 billion over the next decade? That means even with these drastic cuts we will still have deficits of just less than 1 trillion dollars per year. Sequestration does nothing. It is a drop in the bucket. We need to reorganize the government. We need to cut duplication and cut spending in ways that make sense. We need to realize that government give away programs are great when the government has the money, but in case you missed it, we don't have the money for them.
Who is saying the GOP ran a faulty campaign ?
- The Media due to the GOP loosing ?
That would make it the opinion that is was faulty, not a fact.
You post makes it sound like GOP needs to turn into a RINO or Liberal to get votes.
If they do, who do you think is going to be put up against them in the primary if they run this type of campaign ?
- Several tried this before, and got pushed aside for the grass roots movement candidate.
Sorry Jack, but you are sounding a lot like K-Mac with this post.

Sounds a lot like some of these "bright ones" are going to turn into a RINO just to get votes. If they stick that way, or just give lip service to get reelected is to be seen.
Which ones are these, the GOP members that sold their vote for the Health Care act in return for increased Medicaid payments ?

I personally think that approach has to change if the GOP is to be successful. The next few years will tell the tale.
