I do not think women are treated exactly like men, even with the best efforts of many.
I do not think women and men should be treated the same way. Now that people are all ready to beat me up. Men and women approach things differently. One big area I see is in education. Back before the 60's, the prevailing thought was a woman was minimally educated so she could work until she could find a husband to take care of her. Once a husband and kids came a long she dropped out of the work force. Education was geared for the boys. Girls had a very difficult time learning in school because the information was not presented in a manner that made it easy for them to learn, because the prevailing bias said they didn't need to be educated. Come the 60's, 70's, and 80's and education started drifting to benefit the girls, to the point we are right now. The methods are exactly the opposite, where the information is presented in a manner best absorbed and understood by girls. I was reading an article a while ago (years ago) that actually explored this and backed it up with test score data.
I've seen it in my son. When he was in public school he had a difficult time learning. We moved him to a private college prep school for boys and his grades improved drastically. We didn't think he would be able to survive there for more than a year, let alone have his grades improve, because it is a much tougher school and his grades were rather low in the public schools. His grades went from struggleing to get a 70% in all his classes on his report cards, to getting at least a 77% in much tougher classes. They do share a few classes with a girls school across the street, but I have not seen nor heard any information about grades where both genders attend the classes.
Another area where the differences in men and women can be seen is in law enforcement. The different genders handle situations much differently, yet both are able to handle things very well. Neither method is the best in all situations, but neither is totally incompetent in all situations. Studies I read when I was working for a local agency, showed men tend to be involved in more use of force incidents than women. When women used force, it tended to be more violent. The thought was that because they waited longer and tried to talked down their subject, they had to use more force when they did use it. They were more successful at talking their subject down than male officers were, but when the women officers inflicted more injuries when they did use force than the male officers.

That bus driver took a lot of abuse before his cork popped. Over reacted=yes....
Woman do have equal rights, and often times more rights, and i hold them to it.
Just go through a divorce.....
I'm a White Knight no more! Woman as a rule can carry there own bags, open there own doors and pay there own way, except for my Wife and Daughters.

The passenger got what she deserved. I treat women the same as men. If anyone hits me...................they will go down, period. Usually, it is the womans big mouth that gets them into trouble. They know how to use it and they will use it, that is their weapon. They use theirs, I use mine. And it isn't like they don't know the damage they are doing, they know well how to push the buttons. I have enough sense to know if I push the button on an *** kicking machine, I will get my *** kicked. Women seem to feel they are immune to the basic laws of life................
By the way, I have a VERY long fuse...............

Man... that was one of the best upper cuts I have seen
She took it like a champ though.
I can't say it was justified though. Not quite. I think as a man he could have endured a little more abuse before something like that was necessary. I can't tell if she punched him or slapped him. Either way, he could have thrown her in a choke hold or something and drug her off the bus. I dunno.... maybe she punched him.
I'll say this for myself. Ive been around some crazy girlfriends in my past. Been slapped, pushed, clawed, spit on etc. Only on one incident did I ever swing back.
Not my finest moment but still believe it was justified. I was driving, with my 6 month old son in the back seat. Crazy gf in the passenger seat. At some point during an argument she reached over and grabbed the steering wheel. I literally could not pry her grip from the wheel and at that point was fighting to stay on the road as she was trying to crash the car. Instincts kicked in and I threw a big back hand at her. She let of of the wheel and started screaming that I was abusive and was going to jail... I'm thinking B* you just tried to crash my car with my son in here. I left her on the side of the road (in cell service) about 40 miles from her house. That was the end of that relationship.
It's one thing if a woman slaps me, kicks me, pushes or all that crap.. but if you close your fist and crack me in the mouth it will probably be the last thing you remember.
There is a line that anyone should know not to cross when confronting someone over an argument. Once you cross that line, you know it's a fight. For a women vs man, that line is a lot thicker than a male on male confrontation.
Now that I saw the whole video, that driver was overly aggressive. What do you expect in Cleavland though. You can see that same activity on the front porches of a residential housing area.

Here's a link that is safe, it was on one of their local news channels.
Of course Shiddia (sp?) says it's not her fault and she did nothing wrong despite the camera catching her cussing, spitting and hitting the driver first. Why am I not surprised at this...

I wonder if she has been or will be charged for slapping him, and what's even worse, spitting on him. Never know what lives in her mouth.....could even be HIV.
That would make it self defense on his part, in my books.
BTW: Woman want to be equal to man and are! Right up to the point when it's not convenient and self-serving. At that point a change happens, resembling a Chameleon and they change from having equal rights (which should include equal responsibilities ), to being depended on Man, such as what takes place in divorce courts all over the western world. Woman are not satisfied with equality. They aim to dominate.
Now, that I'm thinking with the big head, it's easy to see...

I've never had to hit a girl in my life. I would though in the right circumstance. In the video the guy lost control. He should have stopped got out of the bus and called the cops. He would have been wise to do the sane thing if it were a man if possible. Sometimes it is neccesary to physically defend yourself. I hope women arent always treat the same as men because there not the same.
