when i lived in texas the first time i went to champion forest baptist church (HUGE church), move up north and went to a church with about 30 given people any week, very personal and i liked hanging out with my pastor and family, moved down to alabama same scenario, i'd go ride dirt bikes with my pastor nearly weekly. when i moved back to texas i refused to go to a church with 2-3k members at a service. never found a church that was small enough to get to know people so i have stopped going for the past 3-4 years.

 

I attend Green Valley Missionary Baptist Church.

 

I was born into a Roman Catholic family and attended church for the first 18 years of my life. I do still believe in god and the afterlife but I do not believe in organized religion.

I will share why if a moderate pre approves my post. I will tell it how I see it.

 

As long as you are respectful of other's beliefs, I don't see a problem with posting "why". I will point out though, the "subject" of the thread is "What Church...", nothing more. (But, others have posted "why" or alluded to a "why".)

ok at the risk of offending people and their religious views all I will say is that I believe that the Roman Catholic church is corrupt and I do not support them any longer. Sorry if I offended anyone with that statement its just what I believe.
