I recently purchased this edge evolution programmer from a member on here. It is the 04-06 model it has the black pod and it is locked I am looking to get 175 plus shipping. I don't feel like messing with getting it unlocked so I'm gonna just buy a new one.

What I don't understand is how it's a better deal for you to sell your locked Gryphon for $175 and buy a 'new' one for about $400.

I've seen from your other posts that your not really into 'messing' with much of anything that requires a little effort, but for $75 and a phone call (that you apparently had 88racing make for you?) the unit you have CAN be fixed and ready to install.

So, let's recap. $175 (your prospective cash for selling your current paperweight) + $75 = $250. $250<$400 Get it? That's what I couldn't understand before. Well, that's not all I couldn't understand, but that's the bulk of it.

 

Wait a minute. No one here made any phone calls or anything for me. I tried calling php several times sent an email to bill and I haven't heard anything back. The only one there that knows the price to unlock must be bill but I can never get him. Plus where are you buying an edge for 400.

 

Who, me? No, I'm not buying an Edge. Since you were trying to get with folks at PHP, I thought you were getting a new Gryphon...which costs $400. Well, $399 but close enough.

See? I don't get it. I went through the EXACT same situation as you (note the thread that MGDfan was kind enough to spoon feed you only to have his PM posted on the public forum...REALLY bad form, by the way), and I called PHP early the morning after I bought the locked Edge (for methinks $70... $175 is WAY too high for a locked Edge ). I got Bill on the phone the first try. A few bucks and 15 minutes later, I was good to go.

Are you sure you tried to get him? If so, what time are you calling? Oh, and I misread your post in another thread on the matter. I thought you said 88racing was calling for you. My apologies on that topic, sir.

 

I was always told if you don't have something good to say keep your mouth shut. So that is why I called MGDfan out.

And I did read the threads before purchase and they all said 75 the same thing Cody said when I talked to him. But he said if I want it back faster to send it straight to edge I said I can wait because they want 150 that's when he said well of there price is 175 then ours will be too because that is who we get to do them but bill will know better. I tried today at 10 and then at 12:53 and I sent the email on Monday with no response.

So if anyone wants a locked edge for 150 plus shipping from me then have it unlocked for 150 from edge do I got a deal for you.

And for the record, Bill can unlock the Edge remotely using the Pegasus software. And he charges $75-$80.

So go ahead and shell out a good deal more money for less product. Fine with me...promise.

 

Then why doesn't he tell the rest of his guys that. They just lost business. I see I'm not the only one having problems reaching them or being able to deal with them.

So - again, you've proven to be spectacularly unresourceful.... outstanding.

Add that to the fact that you cannot be trusted with private communications, appear to have reading and or comprehension issues (the links in the PM which were right on target), and you've collected quite a portfolio of skills. All unsavoury, and some quite despicable.

Better that you abandon this whole endeavor now, for PHP's sake - you'd be the customer from hell with those attributes.

Yo are you reading what I said. Cody from php said they charge what edge charges and edge told me 150. So what he is saying they didn't update there prices online yet. I didn't want to send it there and them say hey it isn't 75 anymore it's 150. So thank you for your help.
