Nope, no chips or dings. Paint is perfect. Where would you want to meet? You would probably want to keep your grille and surround tho. The grille I have on mine is just an over lay that bolts to the factory one.

I'm not really sure whats between jacksonville and tally so id have to ask a couple of my buddies that go to school out there where a good place would be.

Just let me know, I will meet you. Sunday would be a good day for me, I will be in Ft. Walton beach on Saturday and I work 8-4 Mon-Fri. Do you want to swap the hoods ourselves or take them to a shop?

Live Oak is about 85 miles away for both of us. Also, if you want to take it to a shop there is this place http://duncantireandauto.com/index.htm It's right off I-10 in Live Oak.

Id be willing to do that and having a shop swap them would be a lot easier for both of us...any idea what they would charge to have that done? Sunday works for me but i wouldnt be able to get out there till about 2-3pm.

I didnt see hours for that shop on their web page but i doubt they are open sunday...

The grill I am getting is the grill craft mx series in black mesh. I dont think it will look right with the hood with the scoop so i want to get a stock hood. if i had $700 i would get the saleen hood since it has a black mesh insert on top that would match that grill perfectly...i need to save up some money

I'll call them tomorrow and ask, 2 or 3 works for me. Also, I just got home from work and went outside to inspect the hood. There are two TINY literally the size of a tip of a pencil chips in the paint, right about the grille and they are side by side. kinda looks like a little vampire bite. I can get a picture if you want. There was no rust on them so they must be new and I covered them with a dab of touch up paint from the pen applicator touch up thing

if its a pain in the *** dont worry about a pic, im sure it looks fine and would be really hard to notice unless you were really looking for it. 2 tiny chips isnt a deal breaker. let me know what the shop says and we can make a plan.

if you do take a pic of the chips you can send it to gsemurphy@comcast.net
