Lightbulb Truck Staxx For Sale!

As many people probably know, I put a set of truck staxx on my truck. However, I'm not too happy with it, due to the noise and the fact that it ate some of my bed space. I am going to miss the looks, distinction, and the minor power difference it gave me. The main reason why I am selling it because the noise and the fact that the pipes were only able to be configured in such a way that it is too close to the drive shaft if I were to ever put a considerable amount of weight in the bed it would rub against the driveshaft. Or if I hit a good bump, it would knock into the drive shaft. Although, it can be corrected with flex tubing or if I lifted the truck (or had 4x4). Since I do a lot of earth moving and other heavy duty work with my truck, it's not going to work out like I wanted it to, sadly.

I'm selling this as a kit, pretty much for any regular cab, any engine, either 126" or 145" wheelbase, 4x4 or 4x2. But it is only for a 2004-2008 F150 ONLY. However, the piping from the muffler to the staxx can be created to fit on a Scab or CC model, or you can go the easy route and go with the flex tubing. If that is the case, then you can pretty much put it on any truck, F150 or not.

I currently have it on a 2007 V6 F150 5 Speed Manual 4x2 Regular Cab Long Bed (145" WB). It sounds great, nice and deep v8ish/dieselish sound, especially when I shift. There is also a slight increase in performance as well, but that is typical of most any exhaust upgrade. I'm sure it will sound much better on a 4.6l v8 or even better on a 5.4l v8 though.

I will get a video of these tomorrow, and I plan on disassembling them this weekend to put my stock exhaust back on.

As a side note, you WILL have to cut into the bed of the truck. How you wish to run the piping is at your own discretion if you've got a different cab set up than the regular cab setup.

Specifications:

Fitment:
Model: F150
Years: 2004-2008 (except Heritage!)
Cab Spec: Reg Cab (can be used on Scab or CC if new piping is used)
Transmission: ALL
Engine: ALL
Provision: 4x2 and 4x4

Included Parts:
Dynomax Truck Staxx with Turn Out design (cut to 38" and re-flanged, keeps the stacks at cab height if connected at base of bed floor, but can be made taller))
Flowmaster 50 Series SUV 2.5" IN with DUAL 3.0" OUTS
Pre-Cut 2.5" flanged stainless intermediate pipe
4.0" to 3.0" reducer
Dual 3.0" interconnect piping to each stack from each OUT on muffler.
Clamps
Strainers (keeps foreign objects out!)
Diamond Plate/Checker Plate Aluminum Finishing piece with 5" hole cutouts.
All stainless, no-rust hardware/screws.
<1000 miles - Slightly used condition -- Will clean any soot!
Muffler, reducer, intermediate pipe, and interconnect pipes are painted black with Rustoleum Industrial grade high gloss paint.

Shipping:
I can ship via UPS, but buyer handles all fees. I prefer to have someone come by and pick it up, but I can deliver in a 400 mile radius, with the buyer paying for item only (yes, the ride is on me!).

Payment:
I take Paypal, cash (in person only!), or personal checks when they clear.

Terms:
Sold "As is", under "used" condition. Being human, we all make mistakes, BE SURE to check to see if it will work with your truck. I'm willing to take more pictures, and get you any part numbers you might need. Please talk to me!

Price: $600 or BEST OFFER! Plus shipping (unless you are picking it up or I am personally delivering it!).

The staxx alone retail are close to $350. Plus you are getting a Flowmaster 50 series SI/DO. I'm practically giving these away, especially with the finishing panel and the piping included.

IF you got any questions, please feel free to contact me either by PM or let me know with a post. I am willing to go lower in price... but I'd prefer no lower than $400, please be considerate, if you can give me a real good, convincing reason that you should take it off my hands for $400, then it's yours for that amount. It cost me a lot of money to fabricate this thing, so please, be considerate.

Just as a side note, even though I specify it is for a F150, IT CAN be used on other trucks, including diesels. So if you want to add some pizzazz to your diesel for cheap, here is your ideal solution.

Keep them, it won't even be worth the hassle to sell them, and it seems like you're happy with them.

The reason the shop can't do it is because of the "S" type of bend that would need to be done. They showed me their failed attempts, and this was as close as they could get it. What would happen would be the machine would bend it, and then when he would go and do the other portion of the bend, the metal started caving in. Even with the heavy duty steel he used, it was still caving in/denting.

I'd get helper bags or an AAL, but even with that, I still don't feel comfortable.

I was looking at the driveshaft today with nothing in the bed, and it was still way too close.

I feel bad selling it, as it does sound very nice... but the sound does get somewhat annoying, especially on long excursions. Plus the looks I get... I had this one guy in a F250 compliment me... he seriously thought I shoved a 6.4l diesel in it because the truck was so quiet. When I told him.. he was like, "Wow! That's sick sounding! Looks awesome too!"

So yeah, I'm going to miss it... but time to move on.

I'm also lowering to $400 or best offer. That's $200 less than what I wanted yesterday.

Like I said, any questions, just ask... I don't bite.

wow man... sorry to hear this.

but in all reality is stupid. your gonna eat 600 bones just to get rid of them, and you will drive 400 miles? Not to mention payin to put the stocker back on..

well ill pay 500 for them if you bring down to Tampa FL... with alittle modifications it will fit my truck, would be pretty neat once im on 44's hahaha

With that money you could put a SMALL lift on it and be done.... but obviously you dont want to do that...

I'm not paying anyone to put the stock system back on. It is way too easy. 3 bolts and a clamp.

I don't want a lift because I like the height of it now.

If you give me $500, I will ship UPS for free.
